1.Commercial activities are performed according to direct demand from customers.
2.Joint projects are initiated on the basis of need and typically jointly funded by VTT, companies, research financiers and other research parties.
3.Self-financed research consists of technology-based strategic research aimed at developing competitiveness, knowledge and expertise to meet the future needs of customers.
